The mission of the North Florida Sewing Center is to provide a safe space for collaborative efforts using needlework arts to promote health and sustainability for humans, animals and our environment. 

Who we are!

• We make items that can be used for the health, comfort, and safety of community members, both locally and globally

• We teach ‘granny crafts' - sewing, knitting and other hand arts to help preserve them. .

• We are a 98% waste free center.

• We support other non-profits by passing on items we can’t use.

• We host and support groups that do community service through our Hearts and Hands Service Days..
